GALOW GOES GREEN! In 2011, Galow stepped-up our strong efforts to go "Green". This included electronic delivery of purchase orders, order acknowledgements, invoices, certificates of compliance; along with ACH and credit card payments. This has greatly reduced our use of paper, envelopes, ink, postage, and of course the fuel and manpower needed to process and deliver all of these items. Ongoing, we also reduce, reuse and recycle almost every piece of paper that comes into our facility. Inter-office paper is used on both sides. Solicitation mail pieces are also kept and used if a blank side is available. Incoming envelopes and short sheets are used as scratch paper. Then when all usefulness appears to be gone, the paper is shredded and used as packing material in our shipping department. It is now 2012 and we are truly amazed at the benefits and cost reductions these efforts have provided. We encourage everyone, customer and vendor alike, to join us.
